English as a Second Language (TISESL) Curriculum

The materials are copyrighted © and trademarked ™ as the property of the Texas Education Agency (TEA) and may not be reproduced in any manner without the express written permission of TEA, except under the following conditions:

1) Texas Workforce (TWC) Commission Adult Education providers approved by the TWC may reproduce and use copies of these Materials and Related Materials for their educational use without obtaining permission from TEA.

License Period: The ending date coincides with the availability of a successor to the Adult Education - Texas Industry Specific English as a Second Language (TISESL) curriculum if made available. When such an event occurs, then the user must update the existing curriculum to be based upon the successor to the Adult Education - Texas Industry Specific English as a Second Language (TISESL) curriculum.

2) Residents of the state of Texas may reproduce and use copies of the Materials and Related Materials for individual personal use only without obtaining written permission of TEA.

3) Any portion reproduced must be reproduced in its entirety and remain unedited, unaltered and unchanged in any way. No modifications or changes are allowed that would change the meaning or facts of this Material or place this Material out of context.

4) A reasonable charge to cover only the cost of reproduction and distribution and other direct expenses may be charged by Texas LEARNS and must be documented.

5) Each copy of this Texas Industry Specific English as a Second Language (TISESL) curriculum, or any part thereof, whether paper, CD, DVD, Power Point presentation, or any other type of media used must contain this Copyright Notice.

Private or Public entities or persons located in Texas that are not TWC approved Adult Education providers or any entity, whether public or private, educational or noneducational, located outside the state of Texas MUST obtain written approval from TEA to use this Material and will usually be required to enter into a license agreement that may involve the payment of a licensing fee or a royalty.
