My education includes a Masters in Nuclear Physics from Texas A & M University Kingsville - 1963; a Masters in American History from Texas A & M University Kingsville - 1972, and two years of work on a History Doctorate at the University of Texas, Austin which I didn't finish - no PhD.  My work experience Includes: (a) 7 years as an aerospace engineer at NASA, three at the Marshall Space Flight Center in Huntsville Alabama and four years at the Houston Center; (b) three years teaching high school at Kingsville and Riviera high schools; (c) two years as Assistant Director at Juarez Lincoln College in Austin; (d) 14 years at the Texas Education Agency, nine year in the migrant Division and five in the Title I and other federal programs division - starting as a level 17, then 18, then Program Director and finally as a Director of Programs; (e) two years as Director of a Parent Information Resource Center federal grant; and (f) 19 year as a VAMOS, INC. evaluator/consultant for Even Start, Title IV, Bilingual,, etc. I also produced/made a movie titled Atanasia.
