Dr. Linda Monaco has worked as an educator for over 25 years. She has a doctorate in Education Research and has taught research and evaluation courses at the University of North Texas and Texas Woman’s University. For several years she worked as a lead evaluator in one of the largest school districts in the state of Texas. She has successfully written, evaluated and administered numerous grants including Academics 2000, Reading Academies, Investment Capital, and Comprehensive School Reform. She has worked as an evaluator for grants from the National Science Foundation, the U. S. Department of Education, as well as the state of Texas, including an evaluation of a statewide initiative of the Texas Higher Education Coordinating Board.
Dr. Monaco has all level administrator certification and has been a teacher, principal, deputy superintendent and superintendent of schools in Texas. She currently works as an external evaluator and as a technical assistance provider for schools that fail to make Adequate Yearly Progress or are Academically Unacceptable.
