Linda Alaniz has received her Master of Arts and Interdisciplinary Studies in Sociology, with a Minor in Psychology from the University of Texas Brownsville and Texas Southmost College (2002). Bachelor of Science Associate of Applied Science in Education with a minor in Office Administration from Texas A&M University Corpus Christi (1994). Her administration background of over 18 years includes: Texas State Technical College (Harlingen Campus); the University of Texas Brownsville / Texas Southmost College; and Rio Hondo ISD administration. She currently has been running her own company for the past 8 years that writes and evaluates grants for eligible school districts. She utilizes her experience in education to write and evaluate grants for eligible school districts across the State of Texas and Alabama. She actively participates on many committee boards that involve education and community projects for the Rio Grande Valley.
