Approved Even Start Program External Evaluator

Ann Gundy has been involved in evaluation of family literacy programs since 1994. In that interim, she has generated a total of 60 yearly reports for 12 family literacy programs, including Even Start and The First Lady's Family Literacy Initiative for Texas program. In addition to literacy programs, she has also evaluated projects for TIF (Technology Infrastructure Fund), TARGET (Technology Applications Readiness Grants for Empowering Texas students) and FIPSE (Fund for Improving Post-Secondary Education).

She incorporates the use of technology for collection and analysis of data and distribution of reports.

Dr. Gundy has transitioned from serving as an Associate Director of the Center for Distance Learning Research, overseeing evaluation projects and training contracts to serving as a full time clinical professor in the Department of Educational Administration and Human Development at Texas A&M University.  She is the undergraduate program chair for BS Degrees in Human Resource Development and Technology Management.
