Education Department General Administrative Regulations (EDGAR)

Title 34 Code of Federal Regulations Parts 74-86 and 97-99, November 26, 2003 edition.

The United States Department of Education (DOE) is required by Congress to establish and enforce regulations for the agency. As result, the U.S. Department of Education created EDGAR, which are the established regulations that the agency must adhere to. It is important for an Adult Education Administrator to have access to the rules and regulations of EDGAR because he/she can become aware of the guidelines that the state and local agencies must follow when working with the DOE.
