Introduction Hand out newspapers to each student. Have students see if they can find the Classified Ads. After a few minutes explain how to look on the front of the newspaper to see where the classified section is located. Now make sure all of the students have located the Classified Ads and have found the Help Wanted section. Now discuss with students abbreviations and terms used in classified ads. Make a list on the board. Also, discuss with students the different types of applications. Go over the various types. |
