Student will be able to: recognize illnesses, make a doctors appointment, and sign and print their names.

Activity/Procedures

  1. Role playing- Patient /doctor. One student is the Doctor and the other the patient. The Patient gets a card with a symptom and the Doctor has to ask appropriate questions to figure out ailment.
  2. Match the picture of someone with a particular ailment with the symptom. (Board exercise)

Evaluation/Assessment

  1. Role-playing activity-student acts out symptoms, class guesses ailment.
  2. Mix and match symptoms and ailments.
  3. Questions & answers.
