Objective

Student will be able to define and recognize parts of the body using a picture dictionary.

Vocabulary: Alphabetize words

arms, buttocks, ears, elbows, eyes, feet, fingers, head, hands, knee, legs, mouth, nose, neck, shoulder, toes

Activity/Procedures

  1. Students will cut out photos of body parts from magazines and write correct names.
  2. Parts of the body "Bingo". Instructor will call parts of the body. Students must identify by picture or word on "Bingo" sheet.
  3. Pin the tail on the body. Student will pin the "tail" on the body then identify.

Evaluation/Assessment

  1. Parts of the body "Bingo".
  2. Copy page with parts of the body. Student will label the parts.

Grammatical Focus

Alphabetize body parts.
