Activity/Procedures Put pictures of famous/notorious people on board. Student says and writes on sentence strips opinion/feeling about that person. Review "FANBOYS" in complex sentences. Apply "FANBOYS" to student generated sentence strips. Ex: President Bush is diplomatic, but Saddam Hussein is controlling. Denzel Washington has classical features, and he is a fantastic actor. Students select sentences for one or more pictures and creates "FANBOYS" sentence incorporating vocabulary words. Students write sentences on transparency strips. Share with classmates. |
