Objective

Student will be able to identify family member vocabulary.

Vocabulary: Alphabetize words

Family members (mother, father, sister, brother etc.)

Oxford Picture Dictionary

Activity/Procedures

  • Present the vocabulary and practice pronunciation.
  • Ask the to students identify family members.
  • Create family tree with their family names.
  • Identify in-law relatives.
  • Role-play exercise within class.

Evaluation/Assessment:

Ask them write 5 sentences with the vocabulary.

Grammatical Focus:

The verb “BE” in simple present tense.
