Materials: Computer or blank Excel worksheet

Estimated time needed to complete this lesson plan: 6 hours (3 hours per week for two weeks)
The Lesson Plan
Introduce the lesson:
Review time concepts and how to tell time with the class. Review ordinal
and cardinal numbers.
Teach the lesson:
Familiarize students with computers and computer terminology. Demonstrate
how to find Microsoft® Excel® on a computer menu. Students follow step
by step instructions written by instructor.
Learn how to use Micosoft® Excel® to create a daily schedule.
Practice the lesson:
Read and follow instructions on how to create an Excel document.
Assess the lesson:
Instructor examines the document created by students and provides feedback.
Apply the lesson to the real world:
Students will be able to use the schedules they created to see how they
are using their time on a daily and weekly basis.
