ESOL OrientationTime Management In order to meet our goals in a busy world, time management is essential. This exercise is an interesting way to make an estimate of "how" we use our time. Determine the time spent in each activity below to the best of your ability. Be certain not to account for time more than once. For example, do not count the time spent eating lunch at work as "eating time" and "work time". Discuss in triads. Compare your answers. Hours in a day: 24
Add lines 1-8: Subtract from hours in a day: 24 This number equals your daily free time: In your groups, discuss your free time and ways that you could create more free time to study or practice your English at home or in social situations. Also look at numbers 2/3/5 and discuss ways that you could use your English more often in these situations.
