Registration Instructions:
To access the Education Service Center, Region VI Online Event Catalog (The Source Online) go to Region VI’s website at www.esc6.net. Click on the red “Online Event Registration” button in the top right hand corner of the webpage.
- Sign-In:
- Click on the red “Sign-In” button on the far left hand menu.
- Enter your email address
- if you get a message that says the email address is already in the database then you need to call Michelle Culak at (936) 435-8209 or Denise Park at (936) 435-8295 so you can get a password set. Once a password has been set you will use that to Sign-In by clicking on “Yes, I have a ESCWorks password” and put that password in. You are now logged on and ready to search the catalog and register for events.
- If you haven’t created an ESCWorks registration account then click on the button that says “No, I am new to ESCWorks.” If you have created a User Account and password then skip to Step G.
- Click on the “Continue button.”
- This will take you to the User Account information. Follow the steps for creating your account and setting up your password.
- When you are done click “Finish.” You are now ready to search the catalog and register for events.
- If you have already created your User Account then click on the button that says “Yes, I have a ESCWorks password” and enter in the password that you created.
- Click on the “Continue” button. You are now logged in and ready to search the catalog and register for events.
- Searching the Catalog for a Session (Search, Browse, Calendar of Events):
- To Search the catalog click on “Search Events” on the far left menu. This screen will give a number of ways to search. You can search by Audience, Subject, Date, or Session ID #. You do not have to fill in all the search boxes; you can search by one or all of them. Once you have selected a search option click on the “Search” button or the “Go” button if you search by the Session ID#. This will give you a list of all Events that match your search. Click on the blue Event title to get the Event Details.
- To Browse the catalog you can click on “Browse Events” on the far left menu. You can either browse by Audience type or Subject. Click on one of the options and then click “Continue.” If you browsed by Audience you will get a listing of all audience types. Click on the audience that you want and you will get a list of all events that have that audience type. You can then click on the Event title to get the Event Details. You search by Subject in the same way.
- To look at the Calendar of Events click on “Calendar of Events” on the far left menu. This will give you a calendar with all the events by month. Select different months by clicking on the month pull down menu and clicking “Go.” To view the Session Details of one the Events, click on the blue Event title.
- To Register for an Event:
- Once you have found an Event that you want to register for then you will see a red button called “Register.” Click on that button and it will show you the Event title that you want to register for. If you want to register for more events then click on the button that says “Find More Events,” otherwise click on the button that says “Complete Registration.”
- If there is a fee for the Event you will be asked to enter either a Purchase Order # or a Credit Card #. When you have completed that then click on the button that says “Complete Registration.”
- It will thank you for your registration and tell you that to print off your confirmation letter click on “Registration History.”
- Your Registration History will show you the Events that you are registered for and will have a link to print off the confirmation letter. The system will also automatically email you a confirmation when you register for an Event.
- At the end of the year you can print off your Transcript showing all your Professional Development by clicking on “Transcripts” on the far left menu. You can print off your Official Transcript or you can manage your Personal Transcript online.
- Changing any of your Account information:
- If at any time your account information changes you can log in and click on “User Account” on the far left menu.
- You can change any information that you had entered in and you can update your email address and password if you need to.
- Click on the “Submit” button when you have made all he necessary changes.
