Current Duties/Roles with TCALL

• Develops and updates Clearinghouse collection of loan and free resources through research and acquisition, with input from Director.
• Uses the InMagic database for original cataloging and/or copy cataloging of new materials according to local policies; classifies using Dewey Decimal classification; and weeds collection of obsolete resources, with input from Director.
• Responds to library patron inquiries with resource recommendations; promotes dissemination of Clearinghouse library resources via individual patron contacts, email discussion lists, conferences, and library bibliographies, with input from Director.
• Oversees all aspects of materials distribution, including overdue loans and borrower eligibility; trains and supervises student workers in materials distribution; monitors quality and speed of customer service.
• Maintains organization and condition of collection, match of collection with library catalog database.
• Compiles data on materials acquisition and distribution for quarterly and annual reports.
• Represents TCALL on the College of Education & Human Development Staff Advisory Council
