Current Duties/Roles with TCALL

• Expands professional development resources in the Clearinghouse Library and by writing Literacy Links newsletter articles.
• Works with research staff and Center Director on research activities pertaining to evidence-based practice.
• Assists local programs with information and resources to address specific professional development needs.
• Supports Texas LEARNS and GREAT Center methods for training activities; researching professional development methods, issues, and trends; and disseminating gathered information.
• Works with Literacy Texas to support professional development opportunities for local literacy councils and their volunteers.
• Coordinates special professional development projects in collaboration with Center Director and state leadership.
• Serves as a point of reference for professional development resources and information.
• Serves on advisory committees or taskforces appropriate to professional development initiatives.
