This award-winning multimedia project helps adults make their communities better places for families and children. The site offers a place for adults, parents, grandparents, educators, policymakers and others who want to become more active citizens, from volunteering to voting with kids in mind.

Math Goodies. http://www.mathgoodies.com/
Educational Web site featuring interactive math lessons, homework help, worksheets, puzzles, message boards, and more! Over 400 pages of math activities and resources for teachers and learners.

U.S. Department of Health and Human Services. http://www.hhs.gov/
This site provides a health status "snapshot" of every U.S. County. Get the health data specific to your county, causes of death, infectious diseases, teen mothers and more.

SpeakOut.com. http://www.speakout.com/index.html
Includes a "Vote - Match Presidential Selector," where you can take a quiz and find out which candidate best matches your views.

The League of Women Voters. http://www.lwv.org/
Some of the information is especially for new voters, such as step-by-step instructions on how to register and vote.

Higher level grammar and writing. This Web site covers sentence fragments, run-on sentences, parallel structure, subject-verb agreement, paragraph development and lots more.

This is a good starting place for ESL learners who want to learn English through the Web. It has many categories such as, reading, listening, writing, grammar, class activities, magazines, pronunciation, quizzes, games, voice chat, proverbs, and daily lesson plans.

This site contains short fables with a variety of exercises at the end for vocabulary, comprehension and application. For intermediate and advanced students.

Web site with easy, medium and difficult levels of general and useful listening conversations, with Read Audio. Quizzes on all levels to go with long and short listening exercises.

Simply a fun Web site!!! Includes word games, word searches, ABC puzzles, sentence puzzles, Hangman, and word generators.
