LINCS
The Literacy Information aNd Communication System (LINCS) - a service of
the National
Institute for Literacy - is pleased to present a new resource... "LINCS
to Literacy," a LINCS
training CD.
This FREE CD was created to help you learn about the many features of the LINCS System. It can be used in training settings in which a "live" internet connection is not available, or by individual adult and family literacy educators to independently learn about LINCS resources. LINCS provides a multitude of useful resources for the adult education and family literacy audiences. The CD highlights the ways in which LINCS can be used to assist Adult Education teachers, tutors, librarians, policy makers, state directors, researchers, employers and learners. This CD was developed by the National LINCS Training Team in collaboration with their five regional training centers - Eastern LINCS, Midwest LINCS, Southern LINCS, Western LINCS and Northwest LINCS. While supplies last, you may request a FREE LINCS to Literacy CD from TCALL. See toll-free hotline number at the top of this page or send an email to: tcall@ coe.tamu.edu. LINCS to Literacy CDs can also be ordered by calling 1-877-4-ED-PUBS.
