The Texas Adult Literacy Clearinghouse has a new hot topic packet available free of charge. Portfolio Assessment covers portfolio development and samples of different types of portfolio assessment tools. The majority of the packet is devoted to sample forms that can be used in the student portfolio. It also contains additional resources for portfolio assessment.

The Adult, Career, and Vocational Education ERIC Clearinghouse has three new Trends and Issues Alert titled
