June 3-5, 1997

What: A three-day 18-hour institute, providing an opportunity for ESL and Adult Education Instructional Staff to participate in professional development that integrates theory with application and reflection. Participants will engage in hands-on interactive activities and discussions.

Who: The institute is open to individuals who work in ESL or adult literacy programs. Enrollment is limited. Please apply early.

ESL Summer Institute 1997 at Texas A&M University-Kingsville

What: The institute will feature workshops presented by professional educators currently working with adult education populations in Texas master teacher led groups focusing on lesson planning, teacher observations, and teaching feedback, a chance to teach ESL classes and practice the new skills you are acquiring.

When and Where: June 15-20, 1997 at Texas A&M University-Kingsville.

Cost: Institute fee: $25.00 for TEA funded Adult Education programs.

Campus Housing: $12.00 per day

(Enrollment will be limited to 30)
