Appropriate reading materials for adult new readers are scarce. This booklet as well as The Number One Team and The Magic Crystal, a story created by the children and staff of Project Plus, help fill that gap. It also provides an example that might be adopted by other programs. Contact the Clearinghouse at (800) 441-7323 or (979) 845-6615 for free copies.
