Professional Development: New Directions for Texas |
TEXAS CURRICULUM EMAIL DISCUSSION GROUPA new email discussion group is being formed for teachers who are implementing the Texas Standardized Curriculum Framework in their classrooms. The email discussion is intended to enable instructors to identify and discuss issues encountered and ideas they want to share. Volunteer practitioner moderators will assist in directing the discussion. The curriculum standards can be found on TCALL's website: Texas Standardized Curriculum Framework. To subscribe to the Texas Curriculum Email Discussion Group, email Peggy Sue Durbin (pdurbin@tamu.edu) with your name, email address, and program affiliation. Texas Standardized Curriculum Framework (TSCF) Resources (update August 2007) NOTE: These resources are not related to the Texas Adult Education Content Standards adopted in 2007. They are based on an earlier set of curriculum frameworks widely used in Texas in the early 2000s, which were in turn adopted from a framework developed by the Florida Department of Education, Division of Workforce Development. For more information about the Texas Adult Education Standards Project (TAESP), go to the Texas Adult Education Standards Project home page. |
