Our List for Texas Family Literacy Practitioners

This TCALL/Adult and Family Literacy Clearinghouse-sponsored Family Literacy discussion list is open to teachers, administrators, and partners of family literacy efforts in Texas. This includes all the Even Start Family Literacy Programs as well as First Lady's Family Literacy Initiative programs, library-based programs, Head Start parenting educators, and many more.

This email discussion list was created for family literacy practitioners in Texas for these purposes:

To be the central point of distribution of information from Texas LEARNS and the Adult Literacy Clearinghouse to family literacy practitioners and their partners;

For family literacy practitioners to share ideas and thoughts about issues and concerns relevant to providing family literacy services;

To share resources and locally produced materials;

To create a network of family literacy practitioners; and

To help the Clearinghouse provide better services to family literacy practitioners by receiving input about their needs.
