September 4-5, 2008: Training of Trainers: Principles of Participatory Education will be hosted by Literacy Texas at Austin Community College, Highland Business Center, 5930 Middle Fiskville Road, Room 411, Austin. The two-day event (8:30 a.m. – 4:30 p.m. each day) is intended to give teachers/literacy tutors, who have some experience working adult students, training in using the principles of participatory adult education in their training activities.
