The Texarkana Independent School District��s Academic Learning Center offers classes in General Educational Development (GED), Adult Basic Education, ESL, Basic Skills, THEA and ASVAB review, and English and Math Review. Day classes are held year round Monday �C Friday, 8:30am-11:30am and 12:30pm-3:30pm. Evening classes are held year round Tuesday-Thursday, 5:30pm-8:30pm. Other Texarkana sites include the Literacy Council of Miller and Bowie Counties, Texarkana Housing Authority, Liberty Eylau School of Success, Southwest Center, Theron Jones Elementary, and Texarkana Workforce Solutions. Satellite Adult Education sites in Bowie and Cass counties include Atlanta, DeKalb, Hooks, Hughes Springs, Linden, New Boston and Queen City.
