January 2009

January 21, 2009: Leadership Excellence Academy – New Cohort, Workshop 2 will be held at a location to be announced. This day-long session is the second of three face-to-face meetings of the 2008-2009 program year cohort of adult education administrators engaged in Academy. January 27, 2009: Special Learning Needs Training-of-Trainers Meeting #3 (of 4) will be held at a location to be announced (Houston or Austin). Trainer-trainees attend the "regular" training on January 28-30 as well as this date. For more information, contact Tracy Hendrix at Texas LEARNS or Ken Appelt at TCALL.

February 11, 2009: TALAE Pre-Conference Events will be held at the Austin Airport Hilton Hotel followed by the conference on February 12-14.

February 12-14, 2009: The Texas Association for Literacy and Adult Education (TALAE) will hold its Annual Conference at the Austin Airport Hilton Hotel . Pre-Conference events will be held February 11.

April 14, 2009: Special Learning Needs Training-of-Trainers Meeting #4 (of 4) will be held at a location to be announced (Houston or Austin).
